Welcome to Home Service
Home Service was founded in 1992 by a group of parents, who were themselves involved in Christian home education in the UK, to provide help and advice for those who were treading the same road or thinking of doing so.
Since then the number of families educating their children at home in the UK has grown considerably including many Christians who want their children to be brought up in "the nurture and admonition of the Lord". Many others are considering such a move but are uncertain as to its legality and practicality.
Making the Right Impression, the experiences of 21 British Christian home educating families, is still available at £7.00. Dr Brian Ray, President of the National Home Education Research Institute writing about the book, said, “It will move, encourage, empower, challenge, and bolster you. … The richness in variety of these home-educating families and their stories reflects the creativity of God and the liberty that His children have in learning and living for Him.” Copies can be obtained from the Home Service.
